PowerVac™ Collection Systems for Grasshopper MidMount™ Models

Engineered especially for the MidMount™ Series following the same tradition and technology established by our well-known PowerVac™ Collection Systems for FrontMount™ units, MidMount™ PowerVac™ collection systems are compact and maneuverable, retaining maximum operator visibility.

The deck-driven vac moves a high volume of air which carries wet grass, high-moisture leaves, pine straw and dethatching debris through the collector tube. The force of the cutting blades discharges clippings and debris directly into the trash-ingesting steel impeller, greatly reducing and compacting debris blown into the collector.

One person can easily remove the entire collection system in minutes. Simply pull three pins to remove both the collector and the vac drive unit and use a single pin to replace the side discharge shield to broadcast clippings with the same deep DuraMax® deck. The collection system is reinstalled just as fast, making the PowerVac™ Collection System perfect for commercial operators servicing multiple accounts.

MidMount™ PowerVac™ collection systems are powered by the mower’s right-hand spindle to eliminate the noise and maintenance of an auxiliary motor. Steel side shields protect UV tolerant commercial-grade, nylon mesh bags from abrasions.
