Every Grasshopper mower is designed with a low center of gravity for optimal traction and stability. The centralized location of the engine, T-Drive™ pump and dual fuel tanks on Stand-On models lowers the overall center of gravity, and a total fuel capacity of 9.25 gal/35.0 L reduces the need for frequent refueling.

Cutting height is effortlessly raised and lowered thanks to the smooth motion of the hand-operated lever. Cutting heights range from 1 inch to 5 1/2 inches, adjustable in 1/4-inch increments.

Provides 4.5 inches of adjustable range and is positioned to provide a panoramic view of the mowing environment and easy reach of all switches, levers  and controls, including a deep phone/accessory tray with  USB charging ports.

Features an extra-wide, extra-thick pad with embroidered Grasshopper logo.

Equipped with coil-spring suspension and dampeners, insulating the operator from vibrations, for a smooth, shock-reducing, floating-action ride and minimal bouncing.

The optional SpeedTrimming™ heavy-duty, anti-scalp roller kit for 61" and 72" DuraMax® decks (52”, 61” and 72” for Stand-On decks) speeds close trimming near buildings, fences retaining walls and other landscaping features. Kits available for both left and right sides of cutting decks.

The optional Down Discharge™ mulching package with GrassMax™ medium-lift blades cuts and recuts clippings and directs them deep into the grass bed, enriching turf and producing a beautifully manicured cut.

Optional DuraFlex™ Suspension Forks absorb the impacts of rough terrain to maintain a level cut, and can be set for use with PowerVac™ collectors.

An optional Air Dam Kit can be installed along the front edge of most mower decks to minimize dust and dirt escaping from the front of the mower.

Control the discharge of the mower deck to avoid putting clippings in flower beds and on sidewalks

The Filter Minder alerts the operator when airflow is restricted in the air canister on dual-element air filters. The Filter Minder is available as an option on all 616T and 700 Series FrontMount™ models (except 721DT, 725K and 727EFI) with heavy duty canister-type air cleaners.

Smooth tread, 13x6.50x6 caster wheel. Performs like a pneumatic tire, but without the inconvenience and downtime associated with flats. Not for use with PowerVac Collection Systems, or with DuraFlex Suspension Forks.

Mounts to side of machine to hold a string trimmer in a convenient location.
